If
you are like most people, you have probably never considered
what your resume can mean to you financially. However your resume
controls, to a great extent, the salary offers you receive, the
number of interviews and the quality of job offers that you generate.
If you have a weak resume you will receive fewer interviews and lower salary offers.
On the other hand, if you have a strong resume you will receive more
interviews and higher salary offers.
Strong and
effective resumes also cut job search time. How much will you lose in $$ if you are out
of a job for an additional month, two months or six months? Someone making $24,000
will lose $6,000 if unemployed during a 3-month job search. Someone
making $60,000 will lose $15,000 if unemployed during a 3-month
job search. How long will it take to make this up financially?
In turn, what is a resume worth to you if it significantly shortens your
job search time? And this is an issue that most people don't
even realize until they've been using a resume for 3-6 months or
longer and have become desperate ... and then finally realize that
their resume isn't working ... then it's already too late and
they've lost not only a lot of money but much of their
self-confidence and drive.
Also consider
what the financial value of your resume is, if it can generate
you a salary which is $200 more per month, increase your salary
by 10%, double it, or add $20,000-$50,000 or more to your annual income (if
you read through the testimonials on my home page you'll find dozens of
success stories that document such achievements as a result of my resume
writing service and resume writing strategies). In
contrast to the $250 fee for my Master Resume Writing Service consider
how long it could take to receive enough promotions to achieve an
equivalent increase in your annual pay. Even in comparison to a $200 per
month raise which is $2400 more per year, it makes the cost of my Master
Resume Writing Service at $250 sound like a mere pittance!
We spend
over one-half of our adult lives working but the process of writing
a resume or looking for a job is given little importance. Most job seekers don't
have any idea that resumes have such a dramatic impact upon salary
offers or long-term career growth.
And
... because most
of us don't realize the financial value of our resumes we don't
treat them seriously. Yet we spend years developing our careers, fighting
for promotions, or completing college degrees--then typically
spend only 1-2 hours creating a resume to market skills we've
spent years and years developing--and that doesn't make any sense!
Most of us have been taught that a resume should list the type
of job we want, the jobs we've held and our education--so it
seems a simple process. Yet, in today's job market employers
receive 100 to 400 resumes, or more, for each position they advertise.
To compete as a top
candidate your resume--particularly once you cross the $100K threshold--YOUR RESUME MUST STAND OUT ... MUST CONTROL YOUR IMAGE
... and MUST MATCH YOUR SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS TO THE JOB AND
SALARY YOU WANT! Old style resumes
just don't cut it in today's job market ... and resume writers with less
experience may not be skilled enough to generate top results at
the level you need.
If you are comparing my service to that of other resume
writers, be sure to read the testimonials on my home page (www.master-resume-writer.com)
that provides signed signed testimonials from real people--clients
or career professionals who have used my resume writing service or
my resume writing strategies--that describe salary increases
ranging from $2,000 to $50,000+ per year ... when a resume can
help someone land this type of salary increase ... double, triple
or generate a 100% interview rate ... there's no denying the
financial importance and power of one's resume!
